Bea is the spiritual being that accosted me in the bath, and had me take down five days worth of immense and sacred wisdom. This happened eight years ago, and I am only now sharing these writings exclusively here on Substack. All writing in italic, is raw, unfiltered message from Bea. When Bea refers to ‘Belonging’ she is referencing the space we return to after death. I am Alice Grist, award wining author and teacher of Women’s rebellious spirituality.
Your Divinity
Let’s go full Belonging on this… The biggest heartfelt message ‘be divine now’. For you already are in a state of divinity. Return to that pedestal people…
Bea’s Message on your Divinity
An establishment set on power and control has too long kept Divinity from you. I’m not going to harp on that, because it is simply the truth of your evolution. But the next step, is to recognise that which you forgot. Your innate divinity, your connection to all that is and the endemic truth of Belonging.
Divinity is a hard thing to contemplate as a personal quality when you are so prone to the dirt. The dirt of thoughts, bodies and actions. You are ingrained to think you are not good enough, you tire too easily, your flesh is prone to grub and stink. So how could you be in any part divine? It feels too good to be true, it feels mythic and unreliable, its certainly unscientific, the business of science being so consumed with the living, the physical and that which can be measured.
Divine, like all words, is not always useful. For it comes complete with so many restricting assumptions. Words are misty and meaning easily lost through your connection with them. They shift in meaning depending upon who hears or uses them. Words are weighted, and thus, drag you down. So take a moment to step away from the term ‘divine’ and consider when you felt invincible, or powerful or had a glimpse of some kind of ‘more’ to this life.
Still, let’s think of what you have survived, and how even the darkness left it’s helpful mark. How life pans out in bizarre ways that are not so bad. How one thing leads to another as if there is a design there.
Divine is a word that needs to be taken and rolled around in the dirt for it to work. So take your divine on a trip round the block and see how it still relates, it still matters, it still just is. It remains, no matter how muddy you get.
You are divine. That is your essence. This makes you purposeful, purposed and adored. You are not an accidental happening and your consciousness does not come from your brain. You are love, consciousness and the ever after of Belonging made manifest, from dirt, stardust, spit and sawdust. The details of this dirt being the most cosmic, divine thing of all. Look to the smallest seeds that create the biggest, most beautiful plants. The divinity is palpable. You are divinely palpable. Even in, especially in, your darkness.
Divine life is quite normal.
